Which one applies to me?

Start with where you are.

The Better Men Better World FIU Scholarship has two tracks, and meeting either one is enough. Both are open at four-year colleges and universities across Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and West Florida, with FIU as the home campus.

  • Incoming freshmanEntering a four-year college or university in the eligible regions as an incoming freshman (first-time-in-college student).
  • Active TKE memberAn active member in good standing of Tau Kappa Epsilon, enrolled at a four-year college or university in the eligible regions.

The TKE Sigma-Alpha Chapter Scholarship is narrower: it is for active members of the Sigma-Alpha chapter at FIU specifically. If you are a Sigma-Alpha member you may be eligible for both—they are separate awards with separate decisions.
